i can see meth/ak or race gas users doing this if they're on stock turbo/wg and trying to get and keep high boost... for pump gas users this is kinda pointless

not true, pump gas users may still want to run more than 21 psi at red line. Stock turbo tapers down that low with stock WGA so pump gas people may want 23 at redline.

x2

like anything else it depends on your tune/tuner

with adding more mods once you get timing, fuel, boost line up will always = more power

thanks dudical for the responses bro

The really question is how much more boot you can hold till redline.
well more boost more horsepower, isn't that the whole point?

Yea it is, but there is no point in asking how much more power this will make since like I said adding boost will add power according to what other mods you have.

One person may see 1hp from this while another might see 20hp at redline.

However, they will both see an additional 2psi or so at redline so that is how this mod should be quantified.

Overall you should view this mod as a way to hold more boost till redline, yes that should mean more power but will require more tuning.

nice little trick. I guess this beats spending $190 on a Forge 21psi WGA. I guess I'll do this when I get my hotside back from BR, while the turbo is off the car.

K..I did the spring thing...then I kept hitting over 30 psi and not matter what I did with my MBC the boost wouldnt' come back down. I took the spring off and turned down the MBC almost all the way. Now I am spiking 30 psi and falling to 20. I am thinking that I may have turned the eye on the WGA the wrong way. I screwed it in towards the actuator. Tomorrow I will have to figure out what I did wrong. It's late now. Any suggestions?
