Aren't the rears kept together by pinch welds? Isn't it part of the structure support. I'd think rolling was better

Dude!!!!!!!! The answer to my search!! Trying to go to 18x8.5 +38, from 18x7, +46. Nobody would roll the rears, but this is a MUCH better solution. Found a 3" High Speed Composite Cutoff Tool at Harbor Freight (love them!) for like $20. Thanks, this is an EXCELLENT tutorial on how to do this right.

You would have been fine rolling your fenders.

I've tried, but nobody will do it here, and I don't have the tools nor the desire to try it myself. Plus I hear there is a lot of paint damage possible. This is an easier & much more straight forward process, (in my opinion, for me).

Did you end up trimming them, & how'd they come out? I'm at that point too & would rather trim than roll, but am looking to hear from someone who actually did it/had it done.

I did still have to repaint the inner wheel wells too, which sucks!

That's a brilliant idea.
