I was going to install mine but you have to drop the front cradle down to install a new one. Look at the service manual, it shows everything that needs to be taken out to get the sway bar out.

When I install the new clutch I will install the new sway bar, no sence in doing that much labor twice.

I would highly suggest you dont install a bigger front sway bar, the car pushes with the stock bar-you will only get more understeer with a bigger bar. Just a thought.

Ditto what superz said I have ridden in a few evo's at an Autocross and it will give you more understeer you need to upgrade to a Cusco three way adjustable rear bar. I also have ridden in an evo with this upgrade big improvement

I already have the bigger rear sway bar and sway bar end links, next is the front, then coil overs. In order to compensate for the larger sway bar in the front cant you just set the dampening rate higher in the back than in the front to increase overstear

So there is no way to install this piece without the dropping the front cradle...

Took off all of the bolts and tried to fish it out, but could not get it out. Then looked at the service manual and it mentioned dropping the entire front cradle. Put the OEM front sway bar back in as I don't have a lift at my house to do this. When I put my new clutch in I will change the sway bar.

I would say that tightening up the rear stuts to compensate for the big front bar will give you benefits on a roadcourse with race tires, and you will have to relearn how to drive your EVO again. This suspension setup can be very dangerous on normal street driving as the whole car becomes very sensitive to weight transfer, any slight lift-off or heavy braking can cause the car to rotate NOW. Be carefull.
