hey anyone have any pics with a galant HVAC installed on the evo?

 

Not an EVO, but the dash is the same, so here it is...



I used some straps and the bezel to hold it in place.

 

sick diy post. will be doing this soon when i get my hands on an extra set of hvac

 

i want to do this soo bad....i scared. lol

 

Do they sell a kit now to install the double din radio like other cars?

 

does anyone know where to get the kit for this now??

What's the going rate on the Galant HVAC? I can put my hands on a few of them and if it's worth it i can get them for you guys.

I m going to buy the new mod for double din with hvac already ready but is it ready to put that white box HVAC control box to the bottom and please tell me how what should be taken out or how is done does it require taking AC Cables off ?

 

I didn't understand the appeal of double din until i installed a single din with a nav system. When the screen pops out there is some flex when you touch the screen. That to me is why I will go double din from now on. Plus it looks cleaner

 

Is it possible to get wiring diagram of lancer hvac and Galant hvac for conversion in lancer 2005

 

Kits are now cheap: http://www.custominstallparts.com/st..._-_CUSTOM.html. Also, google "lancer metra" in images and you'll find the Metra version. No need for the hassle with wiring for the Galant HVAC or fabrication.
