How much weight do you think it would add to do all 4 door? How about the floor?

Why all the worry about weight? The entire Dynamat Extreme door kit weighs 5.4lbs. And there is enough in the kit to cover two doors. So, if you go with two door kits to cover all four doors, you're talking about 10.8 lbs. That's nothing.

LOL. I didn't realize it's that light. I mean, I pack that much at a buffet line!

if that happens you can always remove part of the dynamat, fix the window problem, then reseal with a new piece of dynamat. It bonds very good to itself, so you can patch it as you like.

It took me about 4 hours for the dynamat + installing new speakers w/ crossovers. If i were to do it again, now that I know what's involved, probably 2 hrs.

It should, I can hardly tell, but if you do the whole car, you would be able to notice it. The purpose for this is to remove door rattles and improve sound, which it did 100% for me.

these below. no fitment issues. sound very good (but if you want very deep bass, get a subwoofer too). You can't see here, but each speaker has a small push button on the front for you to choose tweeter setting (-3db or 0 db).

Looks like they went down in price, i paid $100 per set a year ago.

I'm not sure what you mean by "on the outer door", but if you mean the outermost door wall, then no. just look at the pictures.

^Yes, that's what I mean. Is there a reason why you say no?

I don't know what the inner compartment of the Evo 10 looks like, but for the evo 8/9 there is no room to do it, except for the hole to the right of the speaker, but IMHO it won't do anything for you, if you put dynamat inside there. I think the purpose to dynamating doors is to cover up all the holes in your door structure and make it more solid like a sealed enclosure for your speaker which will benefit the sound.
You can call up your local audio/install shop and see what they recommend, because i'm not an expert in this matter.

This is my before and after

Thanks for the write up

Thanks for taking the time to post this how to. I'll be doing this very mod when my speakers come in. Hadn't planned on doing the dynamat until I came across this write up, now it seem dumb not to do it while I'm in there.

How is it holding up? Looks like it should be pretty much maintenance free. I like your idea for the x over, must be some sticky stuff if you trust it to hold like that. Did you have any problems with the door handle rods? Looks like you didn't use the guide clips.
