How to get greddy type rs to VTA.

I know a lot of people are going to say not to VTA and recir it. I got the greddy for cheap so i'd like to try it out. I'd like to see for myself what the result will be. If it becomes an issue i'll just put the stock diverting valve back.

Anyways, I have the ETS intake pipe on and the stock intercooler piping. I've looked under my hood and this is what i think I need to do to make it VTA.

1. Cap the pipe where the stock diverting valve is supposed to have the air recir back to the intake.

I have read people putting a filter on and not capping it but i believe that any air going to the turbo should pass through the maf to keep it from running lean. I understand that there is a risk of the evo running rich in between shifts as the air that the maf reads is no longer there and the maf has already told the ecu to put in a certain amount of fuel. So no more air but fuel is there.

2. Install the greddy rs bov, using the evo kit flange, to the stock intercooler.

I think that should be it.

Please give input. Does this sound correct?

I wouldn't recommend this at all but if you really want to do this, the most efficient way of VTA is AEM EMS tuned for vta otherwise a way cheaper route would be using a blow through MAF on the intercooler piping and setting the bov on the IC flange instead of the intake. This is what I have come to find mostly through searches as there are plenty of threads already about this if you search it.

Thanks i appreciate your input. I can't afford aem ems and with my few mods, an ecu flash will do fine. When I do this i'll post up some pictures and let everyone know my experience. If it turns out to be crap i'll put the stock bov back on and there will be one more piece of real experience not to do it.

I thought i'd update this for anyone that wants to do it. I installed the Greddy Type RS BOV in my car and it runs fine. There is some part trottle issues but small. I made the spring loose for daily driving though.
