Magnus v5 Installation on an Evo 9
Will be updated with Installation Instructions because Seth (Noize) is a good guy... and he lives down the road from Chuck... who is also a good guy.

Holy smokes what a list! Nice writeup.
Lot's of things on that list sound like problems. Strange other V5 reviews had not mentioned these.
Good luck on the install!
ps: The PCV on the back of the valve cover with that 90 degree fitting... is that standard 90 degree fitting standard? The one on my 6 is quite different.

That is absolutely correct. I don't know whether it is simply the IX or if there's more to it. I just wanted to mention that some issues that R/T Ernie may have experienced will not be ones that everyone will find.
Everyone with an Evo 9 will experiece ALL of the problems I listed. That was kind of my intention of making this because most people refer to the Magnus installs on the 8.
It's not a walk in the park.

Not to be the dissenter but I didnt experience all the problems on my IX. The dipstick tube can be reimagined without adding a bracket to it. The alternator bracket needs cut down as does part of the flange near the MIVEC feed. The rest of it was pretty straightforward. I had already done all the EGR/FPR solenoid and wiring though.
