Great thread, I think you have the 2qt reservoir, I've just received my kit but they send me the 3qt reservoir, would you think that the 2qt is better and I should change it or it would just work the same? Thanks in advance for the info cheers.

ps: sorry for my english, haven't practice it recently 3:

oil filter housing

old post i know but is this the correct place to install the line for the accumulator? does it not need a one way check valve in the system to stop the oil flowing back into the pump? is there a one way valve in the filter housing behind this point somewhere so the oil only goes to the engine in the event of an oil surge situation??

Bump has anyone else installed an accusump, how has it responded at the track, street driving, etc? Thinking about adding an accusump before I start taking the evo to the track more regularly. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I'm mostly street with occasional track running 450 / 400. I have the 4qt Accusump with an electronic valve mounted in the passenger footwell, plumbed in to a sandwich plate between filter and housing. I have run it for the past 8 years and 150k miles

Before Accusump: Oil starvation and pressure drops on long right handers resulting in three full engine rebuilds due to rod end bearing failures.

After Accusump: Pressure drops are eliminated by the accusump. No more rebuilds! Huge amounts of downtime and money saved!
