With the Spoolinup COP setup out, I realize that many will simply recommend going that route as the price is quite reasonable. I do know that there are people out there building their own COP setups, and I'm interested in going that route myself. I'm a little nervous to try however, and any sort of DIY write-up would be awesome; pictures would be ideal but difficult to get unless someone is in the process of building one right now.

It seems pretty cheap to try, so I might just give it a go anyway. I've found several threads suggesting what parts would be needed and I think thats enough to go by, but getting it all in one place could be pretty sweet.
