Hey all. I purchased my Samco 7 piece Intercooler Hose kit. Found all the locations for the hoses except for one! Its a "U" shaped hose. I've looked everywhere and cant find where it could go. I've included a picture of it so you guys could know what im talking about. Thanks!

 

Looks like you got an extra piece... I believe the Samco kit is a six piece for the evo 8...

Now that I look at it closer, I'm not sure you got the right kit at all...

 

My kit has the same hose, too. I haven't had time to put them in, though.

My guess is that it is either an extra BOV return tube for those running a different BOV or it is for the anti-lag system.

 

OOOps, I was wrong...

 

Yep it connects back to the intake piping by the throttle body on JDM cars from the turbo. Follow the 2 small pipes that come out right next to the block in front of the heat shield.

 

So the "US version" of the Evolution 8 cant use this hose, or can it ? Just making sure I understand ya correctly. Thanks

 

Yes we don't need it. The US model doesn't have the exhaust recirc line installed.
