Blox front/bottom engine mount help!!!
Hopefully someone can chime in on this, so yesterday I planned to install the blox front engine mount and Ets licp well I got the licp but wen I got to the engine mount the blox one didn't line up at all with the holes for the bolt to go thru it was off by like 1/4 inch :/. I thot about just adding some spacers where the bolts go on the frame to get the holes to match up but idk if that wud be a no-no. If anyone else has had this problem I wud appreciate knowing how u resolved it, cus I assumed this was a straight oem replacement???
Are you talking about the lower transmission mount that looks like this?

Make sure you rotate is 180degrees and try to put it on that way. It's real hard to tell but on my mount there was a stamping on the unit that says "Front" and you need to make sure it faces in the right direction.

Ok I'll try that but i don't think it's gonna make a difference I took some pics and there is a gap b/w the mount anf frame that's not allowing It to sit correctly I'll upload the pics after I try rotating it

When I installed mine I bolted the Blox mount to the cross-member first and then bolted it in. When you do this you can use the bolt that goes through to help line it up correctly.

I've tried That way as well but I can't get the holes to line up no matter how much I push on the cross member it doesn't work I'll take some pics of that as well
Hmm I'm not sure what to tell you then man, if I remember correctly I bolted it to the cross-member, bolted it to the bottom of the engine (where you have it bolted up in the pictures), then bolted the two ends of the cross-member back in place. If that doesn't work I'm not sure what will.
i just put my torque solutions one on and it was kinda of a pain. i bolted it on first then wiggled the other bolt through the holes while moving the cross member around to finally get it in and then tighten down.

lol i tried to put my transmission one on the other day came to find out i needed another jack so i could lower the engine more and manuver it to fit the replacement on. needless to say i got a good 2hr practice on taking off nuts and bolts lol
im confused how you're trying to do this. these were my steps
1: remove cross member
2: bolt blox engine mount in place of stock engine mount
3: remount cross member
4: mount engine bracket to engine mount. this is where i had some difficulties. the hole on the mount did not line up with the hole on the engine bracket by about 1/4"". were talking horizontally (the blox mount would be too far to the left in your picture). to solve this i played with lowering and raising the engine a bit until i got it to work. not a huge problem
you could also try not bolting the cross member all the way, leave some play until you can thread the bolt for the engine
