alrite, so all in all, the best would be 6000k right? My friend just installed a 7500k and it seriously looked so so very bright from the outside, but when i was in the car, i was not impressed at all.....

 

The purple color that BMW's and other car produce is from the optics not from the bulb it's self, and as was stated before most if not all manufacturers use the 4100k phillips.

DONT go over 5,800k. The philips Ultinon is actually 5,800k but marketed at 6,000k. Osram make the xenarc thats 5,400k which is nice. Also PIAA make 6,000k but you lose a lot of light.
Then there is AdvancedOptik 5,100k which is a pretty nice looking blue and the perfect choice for the EVO. They also oferr 5,800k.
