Dude, I never installed it. I've had all the hardware sitting in my garage for months. It's 100% a cosmetic piece so it takes a back seat to performance items.

Though, I was just going to look at the JDM blue print (shown above) and then line up the hardware one piece at a time and figure it out. I don't think it would be that hard.

golgo13, did you ever get this installed? I too want to order the right parts so that my license plate looks like it's suppose to.. Right now I have my stock usdm lic. bracket bent and pushed up and it looks like poop! I was going to order those brackets but wanted to make sure they would work/fit before I did. Thanks!

Dude, I'm a slack ***.

Cosmetic stuff is so low priority for me, that it probably won't get done until later this year?

My track prep and upkeep takes precedence, unfortunately.

Good luck with that, they are non-responsive to phone and email. Not sure what's going on with them or what.

Anyway, this is the link to get everything you need to make this work:

Code:
http://www.mitsubishiparts.net/cart/?id=571&pn=MF243622*2+MS440522*4+MA156028*4+MF455390*7+MR415259*2+MB325298*2+MS470075*3+MR520343*1+6430A065*1+6430A068*1+6410A356*1+6430A121*1

Total is $133.67 + shipping.

So I ordered everything in that list and I still can't figure out how to or where to mount/bolt the license plate bracket!! I ordered all the hardware after you provided the list so I'm still waiting on the bolts, nuts, and clips.. but i dont see how they are going to help.. I don't think there is a way to install that bracket! I guess i'm just an idiot but if I'm right then this was not a wise purchase .
$133.67 + shipping lesson learned.. I think I should have just went with that demonworks crash beam since it has mounting holes for the license plate. Let me know whenever you get around to it if you figure it out!
Thanks,
Jesse

Without having the bumper off the car, I can't tell just by looking at the hardware how it will mount up.

Those part numbers I gave you were the ones Russell gave me and are sitting in my garage.

You can try calling him and see what he says. I'm sure they'll take returns if you're that worried about it?

I'm not blaming you nor Russel . I got a hold of him before I placed my order and he said it would work but it didn't for me. This is just a heads up for you and or anyone else thinking about buying these parts... again maybe I'm just an idiot. I wish I could find a picture of it all installed on a JDM Evo IX but I havent had luck. If I get time I'll take pics of what i got so far if you or anyone cares..

Alright well I've been digging and digging... I have my bumper torn off and the jdm awaiting to be put on. I believe mitsubishiparts.net is mistaken when saying these are the only parts needed for the oem fit and finish install of the bumper. Golgo, your diagram doesnt show the plate bracket. There are others that show the bracket bolts through the two holes on the outer edges in the center with two 6mm bolts. With the parts offered from mitsubishiparts.net, there is nothing to bolt the plate bracket to. After searching my *** off I found the bracket needed. Its listed in the rear structure so im assuming its not a bolt on affair as we have no holes in the rear of the car other than for the support bracket. I found a picture online of a jdm/euro spec car with the bumper off, you can make out the bracket im refering to. As well, there are two small brackets on the sides of the car that are also for mounting the bumper. The part number on the main bracket I've found is MR548868. In the picture I posted its #64524 It doesnt come up on the local dealers parts catalog, but my guy is making a call for me to see if he can get it.. Its offered online on many sites but they are all international...

I don't think Russell did his homework on mounting this up.
