would that technique taking the hotside off the turbo with the o2 housing work for installing a 02 dump?? gonna try to install this weekend if it is and if not I'll wait tilllater in winter when I don't use the evo and won't mind long downtime. thnx in advance guys

 

Yes, but it's a pain in the a$$, and you have to make sure that you don't jack up the blades on the turbine when taking it apart, and putting it back together. I did it once that way, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you're strapped for time.

 

Another easy o2 dump method is drain and pull the radiator. It is so easy to drain and pull that you will really appreciate the room you have to work on the housing. 10x easier than coming from the bottom

 

i put a piece of carboard on the radiator to keep it from getting messed up and pulled the hotside of the turbo off the car. its the easiest and quickest way to do the job...

with the JM fab dump, your gonna have to bend the AC line a little to get it in, BE CAREFUL it will break pretty easy.
