Is this exactly how the filter looks?



Does it come w/ a flange on it like our OEM filters?

http://www.logical-source.com has it for $12, shipped from salt lake city to me was $21 total

That's a knock-off made by TYC, so it's not an apples-to-apples comparison on the price. But certainly let us know what you think of the quality.

Wonder if the knock offs have active charcoal in the filter material like the oem ones. If so then that would be a pretty good deal

installed today. it does have active charcoal and a good fit. it looks like the one on the first post but with charcoal

Just ordered one or the TYC janks... smells like a wet dog when I turn on the heater....

Is that a bad thing?

Sorry to hear that. I wonder what they used to darken the filter material? It can't possibly be activated charcoal, unless they were shipped over with a crate of wet dogs. The Mitus ones are good - I'm sticking with them.

Installed a TYC filter today, it fit great. Got it from AutoDynamic.com for $21 + $7 for S&H. It looks like its got the charcoal, too.
