I just did a fluid change and put the Ferrado DS 2500 all around. Did the bedding as instructed and I have some squeeking when I do low speed stops. Also, when on highway and lightly touching brakes I get the shaky steering wheel. It is odd because when I nail the brakes, they work great, no squeek, no shake. I reused the shims that were on the stock pads. I used the Permatex Hi Temp Grease liberally on every side of every part. That means both sides of the shim and any metal to metal. Guess I will try rebeding them.

If you have aggressive pads you will more than likely get squeaking. Mine didn't start to sqeak until they were bedded in after a race. I imagine some of the permatex burned off and such.

I know about a little squeaking, but this was just a little excessive. I think it is all about bedding the pads propoer. After close inspection of the rotors, I can see the imprint of the bad. This is why I am getting the shake in the wheel, I guess we will see about the squeeking. They were basically squeeky from the beginning, so I don't think any Permatex burned off.

Thank you 500whp for posting this thread. It was so easy, that my wife did her own brakes on her Evo. I did the first one and she did the other three by herself. Thanks for this post, it made it that much easier and we didn't even have to take off the calipers.

Can't wait till you get the pictures back up. I'm trying to do this and the only thing I really need is some pictures to be sure of what I'm doing.
