So I got bored and decided to relocate some batteries to the center of the trunk rather than one of the sides. Symmetry gets me off.

I welded a small battery bracket and drilled into the sheetmetal.
Cut the cardboard trunk base and mat.
Ran the positive cable (0 gauge) through the car, under the driver seat and up into the engine bay.
Ran 3 ground wires in the trunk (4 gauge)(i may run some more later)

Then fashioned a trunk net to hold random car supplies without knocking around the trunk.
