How to empty fuel tank?

I saw that...but Im worried about running it dry and thats what kept me from doing it.

How do you know when to deactivate the pump so as not to damage it??

The actuator only runs for a few seconds at a time, so when it starts to suck up air let it finish. Sit for 20 or so seconds and actuate one more last time.

When they get damaged is when people are driving around for a long period of time with barely any fuel to keep the pump cool. This won't over heat it at all, if you aren't doing it for like 5 minutes haha.

haha ok thanks good to know! It wont damage it if it runs dry for a few seconds after it doesnt pick up any more fuel? If I saw it wasnt draining any more fuel Id just deactivate it, just curious still.

just take the fuel line from fuel rail and leave the car off with ignition on and put it on big can thats what i do when i am on dyno
