no ignition after install

me and my bro just got done putting my engine back in after taking it out for to install a new clutch, cams, valvesprings, and a few other goodies. none had to do with the ignition so after a double check of the connections we try and start and nothing happend after 5 cranks. so we recheck all fluid levels, connections, and didnt c anything so we tested for spark. there is none. the engine cranks and is getting fuel but no spark. any help would b great cause right now i dont have time to check everything since it is that time of year we are very busy. thanks for any help

Check your oil sending unit and all of your wiring harness again. Then recheck a second time. Then check your crank sensor

Look up one of my threads on this, same thing happened to me. The mechanics "Pinched in half" one of the wires (not sure which one, but it is down low on the timing belt side) when they installed my stroker motor. they resoldered that broken wire, and all was great again- EASY fix. I will see if I can find my thread, and post that link. That is your problem, I bet money on it.

ok everything is timed and cas sensors are right. now it seems the timing belt is loosing tension when we hand crank it the tension piston goes down is this normal or this a bad tensioner.

figured i would update. we found out after renting an OBDII scan tool that i was throwing a crank angle sensor code. so we tore it down for the 4th time and saw that the sensor plate that runs through the cas was bent on one side. so when it would pass through the sensor it would take off some material which in turn ruined the senor. well we ordered a new one and with the holidays it took an extra week to get it. put it in and started first try and has ran great since. pulls like a ****, i just wish i had a bigger turbo to use these 280s more. im shifting at 7 and i can still feel it pulling.
