Jdm bumper install??

first off lancer shop sells a JDM crash beam. that or be like the rest of us, leave it off and cut 30+ lbs off your car. other than that wait for the picks to get fixed, im sure not going to remove mine to show you how i modified it. as for exhaust i got greddy ti-c so i didnt have to modify mine at all.

You guys arguing in this thread are hilarious.
Anyway, this thread has you covered:

id be careful modifying crash bar, if ya get in an accident and you insurance company finds out they might not cover damages, and before anyone says anything i have known at least 2 people this has happend to
Just get the demonwerkz, got mine from Driveline. Also if you modify your stock one think about the license plate bracket you have to hack up as well. Avoid it by buying a demonwerkz.. which is lighter and rated at higher impact..
careful with going the easy route and taking the crash beam off. Some insurance companies won't cover you after the fact if they find out the crash beam wasn't there. I had a lot body shop modify my crash beam. Simply printed the how from socalevo and took it to them.
I just installed my JDM rear and modified the existing bumper support. Has the demonwerks crash beam been DOT approved? I find it hard to believe that an insurance company would find that more suitable for the car than the stock one...
