How to make your own manual boost controller?
I did my search already, but I only find how to install a after market mbc on my car.
I want to find how to make my own mbc (what parts I need to get from home depot/lowe's/McMaster Carr?) and to have it installed on my car?
Thank you

just curious but why would you want to make your own mbc? boost is very serious if not set correctly, i wouldnt want to take a chance blowin my turbo if it were me... leave it to the professionals, buy a hallman !
i remember when we use to make manual boost controls (1st gen, 2nd gen gst,gsx days) i think it was because we were just impatient and never wanted to wait on shipping.lol. i use to use a regular air bleed valve from a hardware store. put too nipples on either side(teflon tape on the threads of course) and put it inline with the wastegate. fully open, wastegate pressure, the more you close the valve the more boost you get. now i by no means promote this way anymore, u might aswell get a nice MBC for the $90-$110 and have a very nice looking performing MBC. or just use ecu based boost control thru ecuflash. technology is so much better now than it use to be. remember u might make more and be faster but tune for the boost increase and do it safely.good luck man
