Prosport changing color

ok so long story short, i've been having problems with the connections on my blue prosport boost gauge. i've left the white and orange wires from the gauge unconnected because i figured they only have to do with dimming.

so i was messing with the power cable (which runs off a fuse tap on the ignition fuse) and the gauge changed from red, to blue, to white, and now it's stuck at red.

any idea what's going on??

Hook it up correctly and you'll be fine. Prosports don't dim, they only change colors.

red is 12v power

white/orange are hooked up differently to control the face being always white, always blue, white when headlights off/blue when headlights on, and vice versa
