Hid install help
I am stall my my HID kit on my 03 evo 8 and i am confused with the stock hid setup. i have the bulbs in and the wire running from the bulb to the ballat but then i thought you ran the wire from the ballat to the stock low beam plug in. well the plug in's are the same. what am i doing wrong.. any help will be appreciated.. thanks

Post some pics of what you're doing. Like other people have already said, you can't just plug in your new HID kit harness into the stock bulb harness. Unless you remove your stock HID system and start over with a new kit.

All you would have to do is replace your light bulb and keep the stock ballasts.

So It means, I cannot use any aftermarket replacement HID bulb in my EVO 9 MR?
What if I want to replace the stock HID into a higher HID like 8000K? Does it work?
Also how you'll install it, do you have to remove the whole front bumper?

You can use aftermarket d2s bulbs ...but you do need to remove the lights to replace the bulbs there is no way of gettin behind the light in the car. There is a cap over the bulb with screws and that is directly the chasis or the fender
