Strobe Install
If you drive an evo, well unless your a puertorican with a fart can, a wide bodykit thats been taped on, and a intake and thats it, then you cannot be rice.
Rice is show, no go.
Evo's have been, are, and always will be, GO.
I like the purple ^_^.
It would look pretty decent on a white evo.

Why does everybody need to bash on this poor guy? He didn't ask for your opinions on the matter, or how you felt about his plan, he simply asked if anybody had insight on drilling a headlight. End of story.
Nobody cares if you think its rice or not, if he likes it, its his car, his 30K he spent, its his car payment every month and he can do whatever he wants to it. He doesn't need my or anybodies approval on the matter. And I cant understand why some of the people that post to this thread think they are the ****ing authority on rice, and their opinions mean more than anybody else.

I have learn something after owning an evo, although there are a few good guys, there are alot of douche evo owners... just one evo owner to another. Who gives a **** about what someone wanting to mod there car... help the guy out or keep your pie-hole shut...
Its not like he is putting a wing or rims on a POS...
And as for Gallas from what it looks like the bulb you are installing goes inside the projector housing so you should have an issue with flaking. Now if you are installing it where there is chrome material you will have to seperate the outer lens, tape the area you want to drill and drill thru the front of the headlight, drilling from the back of the headlight will push the chrome materal off of the plastic housing which will cause it to flake. Good luck...

To each his own, but FWIW, I haven't put accent lights or strobe lights on my car since I was 17. All I can ask is please don't use them unless you're sitting still, at a car show.
For the informative part, even though you've already drilled them, the only way to keep the chrome from flaking or getting damaged would be to:
Take the headlight apart
Lay painter's tape down on the area you want to drill the hole
Drill the hole from the inside part, TOWARD the outside part of the headlight
Once you have it the hole smoothed out, remove the tape
Reassemble the headlight
One of the reason the chrome could potentially flake is due to drilling INTO the headlight housing causes the chrome finish to push away from the housing.
