Intercooler painted logos

How do you remove a factory painted logo from your intercooller with out damaging it ?

would paint remover work or Acetone ?

Also... Can you polish it back to new ? and how ?

That "Aircraft Paint Remover" they sell at auto parts stores will remove damn near everything.

That's true raging... Not sure how good it is for thin aluminum... I'd imagine just fine though.

I see you point about the fading and it not looking the greatest. I would try to use some aircraft remover first. I am not sure how you could polish the IC without bending the fins.

JP7, wouldn't the force of the water pressure from the power washer bend the fins?

Was just about to chime in that ETS would probably love to have their logo showing strong on the front of your car. Free marketing FTW!

Its good to know that ETS has the business sense to understand the logic of this without any prompting. Another reason to like ETS!
