how to adjust headlight leveling?

This is the reason I dis connected my auto leveling motors and just adjusted them on my own.


WTH do you need to adjust em for anyway?

few reasons... 1. sometimes from stock the lights arent adjusted right. 2. once you lower the car, the low beam may be too low. 3. by default left side is always lower then right, to prevent on-coming vehicles from being blinded by your lights. many raise the left side to make it even.

Understood. But why not dis connect the leveling motors, aim them as you would want to, and be done with it.

because practically everyone already keeps it at max height but its still too low.

Has anyone figured out how to unseize that cable. I need to adjust the passenger side headlight as its a bit lower than the driver side. Not a perfectionist but with the nightbreaker D2S it's more noticeable since they are mad bright.

i know this thread is old but has anyone come up with a solution to readjust the HIDs after the cables seized up? mine need a slight readjustment after the new D2S bulbs

Bringing this thread back from the dead but I've tried everything and my lights just won't adjust. I feel like I'm going to break the gear, even worse as I don't understand because my car has never seen a winter and rarely sees rain. IDK if there are just a bunch of crap in it or what.

When I had to adjust mine I had to spray contact cleaner inside the adjuster to loosen it up.
