How to: Keep the fkn BOV from poppin off?

I already feel retarded for having to ask, and am completely frustrated @ this point, so please keep the negative comments to yourself.

Ok, so I made the mistake of trying to swap my stock BOV back, in from the APS, and I can NOT for the life of me, keep either of these FKRS on! I went for a spin, after I thought it was fine (tight), and popped off, had to limp it home... I can literally pull it off, w/ ease! I have changed the rubber peices, swapped the clamps around... Around the the actual BOV side, the clamps work fine, nice and tight, (and stops turning) as there is a pipe there and clamps onto it, but the bottom clamp, thats is attached to the ICP, I can just keep turnin, and doesnt seem like its actually clamping onto the inner pipe...
And of course the wifey has everything but hairspray...
I dont think the clamps are bad, as theyre reasonably new, but should I try another set?
I have tried moving the position of the rubber peice up and down to try to get the damn thing to stay put. Ive tried moving the clamp positions around, to no avail...
I cant believe something so easy can be this frustrating...

any ideas would be greatly appreciated! TIA

certain clamps have actually have a hold range where they stop holding. Maybe you could get mini t bolt clamps and for sure hairspray. I have the same injen kit and has happened to me. I'm looking to get another intake and icp kit.

just went to 7-11 and picked up some hairspray... I'll get some more clamps tomorrow.

edit: Finally got it to hold... I think it was 1., the bottom clamp was weak (2 out of 3 extra clamps) , and 2., the hairspray seemed to help!

thanks for the response mike
wow, I need a

I have a t-bolt clamp for every connection that has boost going through it. It's a very good investment imo.

I also heard sanding the pipe a little where the connector goes on helps too.
