Installing Walbro 255 w/ out install kit.

I've seen this done, obviously you just reuse the filter on the pump, but what do people do for the extra bit of space where the walbro pump is shorter than the stock. Do you glue more plastic to that rubber piece on bottom?

There's no need to glue anything on, just make sure everything is snapped back tight and all the o-rings are transfered and your good.

Just make sure you do not put the metal cover back on upside down. Because you won't be able to get it back out. trust me.

So its ok if the walbro pump is a few mm shorter than the stocker?

i put mine in without the install kit, jsut reused the stock stuff and had no problems!

now with a Double pumper

Yep did mine with using the stock stuff, pretty easy, just don't drop anything back into the fuel tank. Do everything outside the car.
