Magnus mechanical fuel pump bracket Evo 9

1) Set engine to TDC.
2) Install tensioner tool, 11mm socket.
3) Remove valve cover, 10mm socket.
4) Remove cam gears, MIVEC use a 14mm allen for the cap, and 14mm socket for the bolt. Exhaust side use 17mm socket. (Impact is priceless for removal)
5) Remove the little steel close-outs front and rear of the engine, 10mm socket w/swivel, or combo wrench.
6) Install the base of the bracket, I used semi-perminant loctite (blue) with the countersink bolts Magnus supplied.
7) Remove pin in you exhaust cam (I used a die to thread it, and it came out easy)
8) Install supplied pin in exhuast cam (it is longer, it goes through the cam gear and into the lovejoy coupler.
9) Install cam gears (Exhaust side uses a Fidanza adjustable cam gear) read the supplied directions and use loctite (blue) on the nuts to the adj. cam gear. 8mm
and in/lbs torque wrench.
10) Install the lovejoy coupler on the exhaust cam gear. (It seperates)
11) Install your timing belt.
12) Remove the tensioner tool.
13) Install the top of the mechanical fuel pump bracket. 6mm allen
14) Install the base of your fuel pump onto the bracket. (Waterman/Aeromotive)
15) Install your fuel pump and tighten.
16) Connect fuel lines.
