Full blown twin pump install help

Hey guys, need a little assistance with this full blown twin pump install.

I am in the middle of my install and am following the instructions from
http://www.socalevo.net/forum/index....&topic=36405.0

Taking everything out and the electric part shouldn't be an issue.

I am stuck on the assembly part..

Here is what I have

The 6an line is for the fuel feed. I know exactly where that goes on the full blown.

From the stock lines which one is the feed line(want to remove it)?

Also for the return line , on the full blown housing i see that I have a hose pull on type, instead of -an line(not the official name but thats what i call it), is there a way I can install the return line onto that? Currently the return line is a clip on type and behind the clip its a hard plastic line.

Is there a part of the return line where it clamps on? or I can clamp the hose onto?

My question is, on the stock picture which line is the fuel feed line and which one is the fuel return line?
Numbered the lines 1,2 and 3.

I have a diagram below

Close up of the housing..

Also as for line numbered 3 on the stock line picture, I know it goes to part 3 for the picture below. The hose seems short,

where does the other end of the hose go?

I would like to extend it in order to install it correctly.

I believe I figured it out. I called a buddy of mine who owns the shop. (Their were many benefits to that but now I'm 13 hours away from him )

So from my questions I know how what everything is
from the stock picture I have pasted
1. goes to the passenger side assembly
2. fuel feed line
3. return line

So now on my setup (the last picture I posted)
Just to make sure I have everything correct
-blue fitting is the feed line
-number 3 on the full blown goes to number 3 on the stock picture
Now my question is the other brass fitting goes to the passenger side?
But the way I got the setup that fitting which is suppose to connect the line to the passenger side assembly is on the side instead of the back.

What I mean is, look at my last picture...
now look at this picture

you can see that number 1 (picture above) is at the back side and on my setup its the 90-degree brass fitting which is on the side.

Do I need to change that 90-degree brass fitting from the side to the back as the picture above or can I leave it where it is?

Any advice would be great....Please let me know

Sidenote: For this line I will be making a rubber hose that goes from the driver side fuel pump assembly to the passenger side assembly.

Just trying to figure this out. So I have two options,
1. the way i got the full blown housing (which i prefer)
where do I connect the ends of the inline filter hose?
I see the inlet 1/8 bass fitting(on the housing) where one end of the inline filter hose goes and the other end of the inline filter goes?

If that is the case then what happens to the line that comes from the passenger side housing to the driver side housing?

2. Block the 1/8 housing(which is on the housing), open the rear hole that is closed. Get a brass fitting , install it on the rear part of the housing , take a hose from the passenger side housing and install it to rear part of the full blown housing?

I would prefer method 1 since it is less work.

On the full blown housing installed in the black car shown above:

Fitting 1 is the feed line
Fitting 2 is the return line
Fitting 3 is the feed line from the saddle tank housing

You will want a filter to go somewhere in the feed line. I put mine beneath the car.

Thanks for the response but now I'm still a bit confused.
I am assuming your numbers correspond to latest post.

From the housing, you can see in post 1, in the picture the blue an line fitting is on the side.(on my housing) I thought that was the feed line fitting.

From your response(assumings its looking at the latest post)#1 which is on the back side is the feed line fitting is suppose to be. Am I correct?

In the case above #2 would be the return line and number #3 is coming from the saddle tank housing.

If I am correct above, for the full blown housing (you can see the pic in post 1)
I have to change the blue an fitting thats on there to be on the back side(under O in BLOWN).

Take the brass fitting off and put it where currently where the blue -an fitting is.

Am I correct?

In the picture showing the stock fuel pump housing.
1. Is the line to the saddle tank
2. feed fuel line
3. Return fuel line

In the full blown assembling shown installed in the car above the line with rubber hose goes to the saddle tank. The fitting under the "O" is the feed and the the one above the "L" is the return.

From what I see the Y fitting under the housing is reversed the dash 6 line should be the return line returning through the strait portion which creates the vacuum that draws fuel from the other side of the tank which should be the barb fitting. Pop the y fitting off and turn it around.

I had gotten my issue resolved thanks to MITSUJOE!!
From your other thread that you opened , the issue is not the pump. Its something else! If your car is not cranking, that does not have to do with the fuel pumps. I would check to see why its not cranking. Does the car have power? What happens when you turn the key? Do you hear the starter click?
If it were a fuel problem, your car would crank but not turn over. In that case I would have you check the fuel system. Anyhow, in my original post , I have a link that should help guide you.

Thumbs up

DON'T FORGET TO DRILL OUT THE SIPHON IF YOU PLAN ON RUNNING THE PUMPS ALL THE TIME! And I believe it is a 9/64 drill bit. Best of luck with everything.

So that's the key to running it without a hobbs switch?

NOMIEZVR4, can you please take down this picture. The siphon fitting is reversed and it is confusing people.
