Supertech Dual Valve Spring and Retainer Install

Hey guys looking for some help. familiar with changing out regular springs and retainers but this is the first time ive done dual valve spring and retainers. Im installing the supertech dual valve spring and retainers, purchased from stm so i have the seats and seals and everything needed to install along with FP4R cams in my IX RS. If anyone could give me a brief step by step or some pictures of how it looks installed that be great. Thanks ahead of time!!!

If you have done regular set of springs these are no different then that. But if not youll have to but a valve spring remover http://www.amazon.com/Valve-Spring-R...sim_sbs_auto_3
or

Just did the same exact kit on my car. Piece of cake if you've done regular springs before. No different... Just that you have a smaller spring inside a bigger one, and some serious tension!

Please be very CAUTIOUS and wear some eye protection for this install.

I also picked up this tool and installed my GSC Springs an Ti Retainers. With this tool it was easy as hell. I did my install with the head on the block.

Nice, What did you do to keep the valves up? I have heard of several different ways just curious what you did.

I just put the piston to TDC and let the piston keep the valve closed.

I did the exhaust side first then did the intake side.

That tool is pretty cool. But looks time consuming. I use Snap-on's valve spring tool that bolt across cylinder head and charge cylinder with air. I can do complete cylinder at once. Whole job takes about hour to hour and half.
