Another bump to a good thread I actually had to look this up after my oem fuel pump relay under the dash took a crap under full load at a track day almost a year ago.
Long story short that oem relay that only costs a couple bux cost me a cylinder rebuild and the only way the car would start was having to hardwire the pump. Unknown to me the piston was damaged and it drove from austin TX to san antonio TX under its own power thanks to this handy thread.
Thanks again! Cheers!

going to bump this from the dead again, because it's a great thread.
So, does anyone know, or have a wire diagram showing which wires are what? I am about to rig a pump inline with my main 255, and want it running full time like the main 255. Not talking about a 2nd pump with a hobbs switch, or relay from AEM, just a second primary pump that runs off the keyed power like the primary 255.
I guess I'm really just looking for the signal wire to splice into a second relay...
Hope that was clear, i feel like i wrote the same thing 3 times.
-Cheers

alright, did some process of elimination off your pictures and colors. Obviously, with out this specific kit, using these colors, just using colors means nothing in my case. I need relay connector numbers.
Anyway, I'm deducing that your "black wire of the relay goes to the white wire in the vehicle wiring harness that was cut earlier" statement is telling me the white factory wire is the 12v switched signal. Making your black relay harness wire going to "86" on the relay.
going to run with that for now...
EDIT:
For anyone who cares, the white wire from the OEM harness is the one you need to have a switched ignition source for a pump.

I know this is an old post, but I noticed you used the supplied ground wire to ground the fuel pump and used the ground wire coming from the car's harness to ground the relay coil. Would it make a difference if you flipped them around?
