on a full face disc, slipping is your friend
6k rpm is a nice pull off with a lil rip from the tires

when I was on the stock clutch I would launch off the 2step at 4500rpm (changed in the tune).

bring revs up to 4500rpm, gas to the floor, let clutch out slow-ish until it starts to grab, let out quickly the rest of the way. Don't dump it, just let it out quickly. Try to get a little wheelspin but you don't want a crap load of wheel hop or you can break drivetrain parts. My best 60ft on the stock clutch was 1.7 doing it this way, on all-season tires as well

I prefer a lower launch rpm because I would get to much wheel hop at the stock 5500 or I would have to slip it more slowly so it didn't hop. 4500 was the key for me. The best way for you might be different so try launching it a couple different ways and see what you find easy and effective.

4500 is to low your going to bog, I launch mine on stock clutch @ 6k 12psi, stage faster than the person next to you < big thing to do because if the tree's waiting on you, you'll probably get a bad launch ..... right before the lights drop slowly let off the second the car rolls let up fast but slow dont dump it I get 1.6's all day

Honestly someone should post a video of their foot on a clutch slipping it correctly for a launch. That way everyone has an idea of how fast we are supposed to let off the clutch.

Once you try it a few times you'll get it down, slip it, don't drop it.

Everybody's engagment point is a lil diffeent so no two ways are the same
I say trial and error
You are successful when you shoot and smell some clutch
If you see smoke and its not tire and your xcase behind you, you did it wrong.

every car is a little different, when I was stock I had no problems with bogging at 4500rpm and put down a 1.7 60ft 12.7 1/4mi only mods were a k&n panel filter and self tune.....should be proof that I didn't bog with a run like that.

This was also on all-season tires which don't grip as well as the stock advan. So maybe that's why I didn't bog, but launching the car at 5500 was just spinning. Plus my local track seems determined to refresh the waterbox right before my run. Every time.

I was using Kumho ecstas mx for those times, I did notice the other day launching @ 6k I ended up spinning so I'm lowering it down to 5800 Trying to keep my boost @ 10psi off the line. @6k It was almost 14psi building up. If you can manage to launch it that low then what ever works , works. I just have issue's with it not holding enough boost @ bogging down lower than 5500.

5500 is optimal for the 350-450hp carsIMO. Best time was on my 7th run and shot a jaw dropping 1.2 60ft and finally ran an 11.8 on a horriiffic track as well. Play with it for a while... For instance as soon as the second set of staging lights light up start slowly letting the clutch out to the point where you feel it budging forward it will begin to boost more as the clutch starts to grab and then you'll see the tree drop. release as soon as you see the second light on the tree. It pulls like pulling the chute on a parachute IMO. But that's just me. Practice practice practice

The tires were junk fuzion-zri.so they spin like no other and have limited traction.
Hope this helps just one opinion though.
