This is a really good write up. I have very little experience with the electrical side of a car though, so I am thinking of just having a shop rock this one out for me.
Finding time these days is impossible for me right now as well

So I am in the process of doing this RIGHT NOW!! I have a question though. Where do I run the Pos wire inside the engine bay. I may be over thinking this, but I don't want it to touch anything that could cause damage. Any chance someone who has done this can describe and or take some pictures that show where I should go?
Thanks!
Thanks!

@ evo98urv no, you can ground in right inside the trunk, there is no need to ground all the way back to the block

Thanks was just worried about a voltage drop. how about grounding the block to the chassis? 1 gauge wire should be more then big enough?

I know this is an old thread but I'm about to do this next weekend and had a couple ?s.
1. What do you do with the under hood ground cable that used to connect to the battery?
2. Are you guys venting your batteries? I've never payed attention to vents on a battery before. I'm assuming you can run a hose off a batterie then run the hose outside of the car?
