There is a lot of info regarding this on the forums if you'd like to research more on this.

You can do three things:
1. if you have a laptop/evoscan/tactrix cable then you can bleed via the evoscan software making it a 1 man job basically.
2. you can turn the key to ON position and floor the gas pedal. This activates the acd pump for a few seconds. This would make it a 2 man job (1 in the driver seat and the other under the car opening/closing the bleeder screw)
with option 2 you have to keep repeating this process. also be sure to top off the acd reservoir so you don't introduce new air into the system.
3. run direct power from the battery to the pump to get it to activate. 2 wires and gator clips or some sort of slip on connectors works well.

I have had to drop my transfer case/tranny a couple times on my Evo IX MR and I did this method, never any issues, worked like a charm.

So after taking apart the pump I put it back together now that all the corrosion is cleaned off. I bled the system by pressurizing the reservoir and still all three lights are on what gives

wow, that should have been the first thing you checked. Hey on the bright side at least you now know the inner workings of an ACD pump.
Glad to hear everything is fine though
