I was scared in the beginning as well, let me tell you its well worth it and not as bad as you think! I just recently did mine following the guide and even asking a few questions along the way.

I see you still put the amber corners in :-) and yeah turned out very good!

Psyched to find this. I was planning to do something similar with a thinner plastic material, but I totally forgot about Lexan. Great write-up, and I will be doing this with my headlights this week or next week!

Good luck! I'm working on trying to source some lexan with amber in it so I don't have to deal with the tinting process.

That would be neat! I ended up scrapping the lexan idea for these headlights as I was really interested in trying them with the USDM amber marker for a bit. I do plan to change it over in the future, though. Keep us updated if you find any lexan with amber tint, this was a fun project!

great job man. i have issues with my headlights always yellowing, so im going to take this idea into consideration.

You probably mean the low beams, the foglights are the inside reflectors, low beams are the outside projectors. He used yellow paint and painted the cutoff yellow, in daylight when the sun hits the reflectors it lights up the lens and gives it that look.

yea sorry I didn’t mean to say fog lights . Both pairs of headlights look great
