Wow, I see this dates from two years ago. About the first of May this year I was lifting a roll around service jack out of the Evo trunk and something let go in my back. This was the forth time I'd loaded or unloaded that jack that day. By the beginning of July I was still unable to climb a flight of stairs but have mostly recovered since. After two months of sitting around much of my fitness is gone. I can imagine what being stuck in a nursing home does to people. I need some work.

At the time I was experimenting with this transmission swap I found, for some reason I don't remember, I had to pull the propeller shaft. Once I had the shaft in hand I realized the non replaceable u-joints were bad. So, the car also got a new propeller shaft. So, sometimes doing stupid stuff leads to happy endings.
