I've recently purchased an evo 8 and the car is speed density tuned initially the gentlemen I purchased the car from has mesh netting over the turbo I have since removed it and am looking for options for an intake as the space I have between the radiator fan and intercooler piping is extremely tight and I'm also running a gt35r turbo I know this has been done before what can I use to make sure my turbo is protected

 

I would do a stand alone filter at the very least

 

Slim fan and an SD intake kit.

 

Should be able to fit a cone intake on there.
