Easy way to fill tranny fluid

This is after you have drained, cleaned and installed the drain bolt.

Get a cheap pump for $4.00 at local auto store then pump away.

If you don't have a level lift, remember to just add 2.75 to 3qt max since not all old fluid will come out or you can add till the fluid drips out of the fill hole if you have a level lift.

The transfer case is similar to tranny, but you will only be able to add about 1/2 qt before it drips out.

If you can change your own oil, you can change all the tranny fluid including the rear diff. It's that easy.

And one more thing, you should get a second pump for the transfer case as it does not use the same fluid as the tranny. I would replace the transfer fluid more often than the tranny as it only holds about 1/2 qt and it gets pretty thick and dirty quickly.
