Helix Power is pleased to announce the release of its RNA series intake system for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII. The Helix RNA system replaces the restrictive factory air-box and rubber intake hose with a high-flow cotton element air filter and cast aluminum intake arm. This air filter is designed to work with the factory MAF sensor and includes all necessary hoses, clamps, etc. The cotton element filter can also be swapped out and replaced with the factory intake box in combination with the aluminum intake arm for a stealthier look. Available 11-15-04

GRUPPE-S RETAIL $199 SHIPPED

Without the filter: $169 SHIPPED

For those of you interested in just the "setup kit" (minus the filter and adapter plate), you can knock $30 off for the "setup kit" which includes all the necessary components, minus the filter and the adapter plate, as the Helix intake pipe is compatible with the stock airbox.

Thanks!

Gary

dyno graph

Hey guys,

Here's the dyno graph. This was done on a mostly stock EVO with HKS 272 cams, S-AFC II computer. No tuning was done in between pulls, there should be more power to be found with some tuning.

Thanks,

Gary

Yup, it will work with the Greddy Type S, as you will use a rubber hose for connection (similar to HKS). For non-recirculation you can pickup an aluminum plug, or we have them at $20. These are full CNC plugs or you can find them / make them elsewhere. Just don't get the HKS plugs, as they pop off during shifts.

Thanks and happy new year!

Nice whp, but that torque is way down. As I expected without tuning. You guys planning on doing tuning with the helix rna intake? I'd love to see how that turns out.

Helix Intake

Will this work with the stock airbox/filter and the HELIX upper Throttle Body pipe with the JDM MR BOV and retain a stock battery..?

If so, then how much for the whole setup..?
