ATP 3071R Turbo Kits IN STOCK!!!
Hello Again!
A Spec is an authroized distributor for ATP Turbo! We currently have ATP's Stage 3 "Stealth" turbo kits in stock. These kits utilize Garrett 3071R turbos. It is the same kit that we use on our A Spec Time Attack car. Here are some highlights of ATP's kit:
· Minimum hardware upgrade
· Stock like spool up
· Wide and smooth power band
· Fits in factory location, no other alternation or relocation is necessary
· Max out at 7500rpm, fully utilize the stock 4G63 potential
· Repairable, serviceable, reputable components
· Balanced, linear power curve
· 500whp on race gas/400whp on 91 octane with stock internals is attainable
· Race on Sunday, drive on Monday
· Ultimate street fighter, track warrior
· Value
From ATP's site:
The 3071R is a brand new "450 HP" ball bearing turbo introduced by the Garrett engineers. The 3071R unit complimented the EVO8 engine well and performed to expectations. Boost was seen 700 - 1000 rpm earlier than the GT3037S and only 200-300 later than stock. With some tuning and larger injectors, we managed 375 WHP on modest boost: achieving our goal of a setup that makes 450 crank HP, spools close to stock and does not require swapping out everything under the sun, ie. FMIC, cams, headwork, etc. To get the power, all you you need is a nice free-flowing 3" exhaust as we have installed on [ATP's] test car.
On our own A Spec Evo, we have seen 425 AWHP (which factors out approx. 490 crank HP) on race gas with plenty of room to play with. AFR's are still pretty rich at 10.5 to 1. All this on factory internals, injectors, EMS, intake, and exhaust.
The kit hardware will consist of the following:
-Garrett Prototype GT Ball Bearing turbo w/ATP Proprietary Housing with GT inspired High-Flowing Valute
-Bolt-in design retains stock manifold - Retains stock heatshield for OEM appearance
-Steel braided lines and fittings for oil/coolant connections
-Tial 38mm External Wastegate
-Stainless wastegate discharge tube with downpipe re-route
-Silicone connectors and clamps
-All mounting hardware, gaskets and CNC machined fittings
- Approx. 450 crank HP utilizing the ultra efficient GT3071R
-3.0" Stainless steel downpipe w/stainless O2 housing
-100% bolt-on design. No welding, cutting, or fabrication

Bejezzus!!!
$2260.00?!?!
That is an incredible price!
An increase of +100 hp for a mere pittance!
I can't even begin to tell you how much people spend to extract 'mo powa' from a BMW. The turbo kit I'm looking at for my M3 runs around ~ $7000.00. This will get you about 400 rwhp.
I still can't believe how cheap it is to mod this car. I'm going to love it when I start to go crazy.
Awesome price guys!

Thanks!
Thanks guys for the kind words. ATP has created a quality kit with the 3071R and we're happy to move that along to our Evo brethren!
I can personally vouch for this kit as we use it on our Evo race car. With proper tuning, it's possible to have a monster Evo with STOCK INTERNALS!
Mivo - It's not just a downpipe and a turbo. There are many more parts included with this kit that you would have difficulty sourcing on your own to make it work. Basically, you are paying for the hardware as well as the R&D that made this kit. Not to mention the wastegate, piping for the IC, etc. Also, the fact that it uses the stock mounting location with the stock manifold is worth its price.
As far as group buys on the kit goes, we've definitely thought about it. If we get enough interest for this kit, I don't see why we wouldn't do it.
Also, since we are the distributor for ATP, we can supply ANY kit from ATP. If you're looking for that GT35R, don't hesitate to PM me!

Like I said before, we have made over 490HP on the stock block/manifold and I know we can go higher. Others with the 3037 have made over 500HP using the stock manifold. And for the price, it's definitely worth a second (or third) consideration.
