Forge Wastegate Actuator and Unos MBC

Guys we have some of the Forge Wastegate Actuators instock again at www.stikiller.com here is what we said about the one we installed on the shop car about 2 weeks ago

"Guys we got one of the Forge Actuators for the Evo in and decided to slap it on our car to see if it would cure the boost falling off problem with our car at high boost. All i can say is wow! I had no idea it would perform the way it did. We went with the Heavy Spring in the actuator and the light spring in the Unos Boost controller and damn, built boost to 25psi with easy and it stayed there like a rock. We managed to run it a few times and the local 1/8th drag strip and using a stock turbo and a mostly stock car with 264 cams it ran a 7.8 @ 89 with a 1.78 short time. Boost was rock solid the whole time even when we left the track doing some top of 4th and 5th gear pulls it didn't fall off at all. All in all i am totally impressed with the $160 mod for the evo. Here is a picture of the actuator off of www.Stikiller.com

Unos Manual Boost Controller.

The Forge UNOS boost controller is CNC machined to aircraft specifications and incorporates a ratchet type top adjuster that will allow for the positive and precise adjustment that your driving style demands. The controller can be dash or engine bay mounted to suit your preference. This is the absolute best in manual boost controllers, with its avalible different spring rates you can easily control boost up to 25psi on the stock turbo and wastegate actuator. If your looking to hold high boost give the Forge Motorsport Wastegate actuator a try with this boost controller and enjoy high boost all the way to redline! This boost controller has clicks so you know exactly how many rotations you need to go to get to your desired boost level.

i take it that this actuator is different from Forced Performances where you dont have to spin the rod to adjust it?

I have never seen the Forced Performance actuator. if you don't length the rod then how would you ever be able to adjust it?
