This valve sounds excellent with my 35R and I'm not a BOV kind of guy.

Mine's coming today, technically....wondering why it takes a whole day for delivery when I'm only 20-30 miles away , I should've picked it up from forge.

i just got mine today..
I have a question, why are the springs so scratched up?
its like no coating is left on them.. and how can i change springs with out a tool
(meaning hex key) and no manuals?

so i guess the one inside is blue spring? and i can use it for my evo with just a intake right?

The bottoms of the springs are ground flat at the factory so they are 100% straight. I am sure you don't want crooked springs do you?

There is not supposed to be a "coating" on them. They are not lowering springs, they are enclosed inside of a weatherproof valve.

There are 6 hex screws on the top. Changing a spring is as easy as changing a light bulb. Did you get an instruction manual with your table lamp at home, fully describing how to change the light bulb?

You bought an Evo. Can you change your oil with your bare hands?

Did Mitsubishi provide the tools to change the oil for free with the Evo?

You paid $95 for a $170 valve, plus TTP-Engineering paid for shipping. What else could be expected besides fast shipping and technical support.

If you bought an 4g63 powered vehicle, surely you have access to simple handtools such as a hex key set.

For your application, the blue spring is the correct spring for you anyhow so no modification is necessary.

If you need further assistance, feel free to send us a PM.

LOL, I was wondering this myself but it's like who cares!. It's going to be inside the plastic body so nobody is going to know about that except you, me....well everybody at evom.net + more, you get my point and at least we know now this is not a quality issue that's going to affect the performance or shelf life of these springs at all!

From what i can see, all the orders got to their destination point around the same time, now that's fast shipping!

Hey guys, I have a supercharged Mustang GT which utilizes a bosch recirculating bypass valve. I want to upgrade and would love to have this bypass in blue to match the vortech system. I am only running about 7-9 psi so would this valve work for that low of pressure? Looking for great reliability, sound, and asthetics and this kit looks amazing.

With the lightest spring "included" this would work for your application. The blue is a really nice looking unit. The pictures from page 1 don't do them justice.
