Yes, the 0W-50 covers the 10W-30 viscosity range required by the manufacture. It will protect better at cold start and during hard driving when the engine is put under extreme load. We use it in our race cars and our daily drivers. We were having an issure with low oil pressure on our EVO IX MR when using Royal Purple 10W-30. When we switched to the ENEOS 0W-50 we saw higher oil pressure, lower oil temperatures during hard driving, and better fuel economy.

Considering Mobil1 is no longer a synthetic this looks like a good option.

ENEOS is the oil Mitsubishi used to develope your motor. Nippon Oil Company purchased Mitsubishi Oil Company in 1999. ENEOS works with all of the japanese manufactures. The make a lot of the OEM lubricants for the big japanese manufactures.

Now if we can get real Japanese Oil filters than the current THAILAND made unit. If you noticed the filter installed on the evolutions with made in Japan. The part number started MD not MZ
