MIL.SPEC, home of the

whistle-free
boost-leak free
non-sticking throttle plate

65mm throttle body.

If your ported unit displays any of the above characteristics, than consider a MIL.SPEC unit.

Plus, our TB's come with the TPS adjusted to Mitsubishi OEM specs and the throttle shaft is machined for additional flow.

I installed my 65mm TB mil spec TB and it feels great. Throttle response and driveability have been improved a lot. Just by opening the TB a little with the throttle pedal gets the car moving. This helps a lot with larger than stock turbos. With a ball bearing red turbo and the stock TB it felt like it had some turbo lag in higher gears (compared to stock turbo). With the mil spec TB low end now feels better than the stock turbo. Also no idle problems at all.

Did you have milspec ported intake mani as well, or are you talking about the ported TB with stock intake mani? I'm curious if it's worth it to do the intake mani with all the hassle that comes with it.

Happy New Year Aby!

What would the procedure be to get your 65mm TB from somebody other than your current installers? Can this item be purchased directly from you? I could do the de-install/install myself...simply need the modified TB.

^ Yes, you can get a tb directly from me.

However you must increase the mani inlet opening to 65mm in order to get the most from the 65mm tb.
