I can't speak for the Buschur unit, but I am pretty sure we don't get our units machined at the same place.
I do know that ours come with our high pressure throttle shaft seals so you won't boost leak, I know that our throttle plates won't ever stick and I know that our throttle bodies won't whistle.
See if other vendors can promise that

Question.. What about the Intake Manifold porting on yours? How extensive is it and what kind of cleaning process is involved? I had the Wilson Indy V0 Manifold and they sand blasted it and did some kind of extra cleaning/prep work ahead of time to ensure a PERFECT and very meticulous port job that was to the absolute edge, without messing with the runners or anything of that nature that would change the design of the OEM unit!
Also, Have you seen the Skunk 2 68mm TB ? Do you think changing it to +3mm fully over the broadband will benefit a lot more? and this means that the intake manifold would be port matched to 68mm as well..
Thanks-

When you deal with MIL.SPEC, you're getting motorsports quality parts for your car. We pay attention to details others might overlook.
One of the vendors I am dealing with on a top secret MIL.SPEC project doesn't have ANY street car business. Only Formula 1, NASCAR, Moto GP, Australian V8, etc. race teams are their clients. That's how we roll at MIL.SPEC
Now, that kind of engineering don't come cheap, so don't expect to see MIL.SPEC parts on Ebay anytime soon.As to the Wilson unit, they are putting in a lot more man hours into that piece so you can't really compare the two. The OEM unit is fairly decent for what it is (the new Evo X intake mani is even better). Instead of just "porting" the intake runners we make a template from a collection of Evo heads we've had and match the intake runners to the template. We also do some additional porting. Our porting is $150 for the IM, $125 if you order a TB at the same time.
As for the Skunk unit, it could be good. I have no idea. It looks nice. I don't know what the extra 3mm gains you (results-wise). I would ask them how they decided on 68mm as opposed to 65mm with the ported OEM unit or 75mm like the BBK unit. For us California guys, it doesn't look stock

Let me know if that answers your questions.
