How streetable would the Sport springs be? Would they be too stiff to soak up mid-turn bumps and ruts? Sometimes even the stock springs seem too stiff for rough turns.

the question is how much autocross or road tracking do you do? if you go every weekend or 2 times a month i would say go for it if you feel you need them. they will soak up the mid turn in bumps but might be jaring for a daily Street setup it is pretty stiff so unless you really use your car for the track it might not be worth it. There are 2 members that have them on the boards maybe the could be of some help.

Yup the price is still good!

We will have a nice review for you around the end of january EVOTX has upgraded from the Hotchkis springs to the Omnipower coils.

Greg, how long will this deal last? I'm very interested in these coilovers but I need to recover from Christmas Perhaps at the end of January.

Greg,

I have read varying posts about spring rates for both systems. Can you verify once and for all the spring rates for the street and the sport versions? Also, are both dampers tuned for those springs differently?

Finally, can you verify once and for all the cusco or equivalent camber plates can be used on the front?

Thanks,
Tim

Spring rates:
Street 8k and 10K
Sport or track is 10k and 12k

Shocks are different for each version ie they are matched to the spring rate.

As for the cusco camber plates I won't know till someone tells me they will. ie they have to try it. in theory they will work.

After a trying week and an alignment later I finally have the omnipower street coilovers installed. Thanks Greg for getting them shipped out!

My initial impression is that they do ride better than the stock setup although they're not as good over the big bumps. However, those were the type of bumps I avoided to begin with. I ended up doing a total drop of 1.5" all the way around. I initially wanted to do 1 1/4" in the front and 1" in the rear but after the alignment and playing with the tire pressures, I've ended up with 1.5". They're pretty good quality and I'll go ahead and give them my thumbs up!

well at the bottom of the strut is a locking ring. Unlock the ring and turn the strut counter
clockwise.Make sure you count the turns so the other side matches.Lock the locking ring
when done. One turn is about 1/16 of and inch in hight.....
