Heh, a nice 150mph run yeilded the nice glowing manifold. This is taken with my new toy (Nextel i860), so mind the crappy quality.
ok, so i was gonna ask if that was normal cuz i'm a newbie.... i'm 2 days into my car and i've had it glowing at least twice. I saw cause when i had to stop for gas.... since i only put half a tank in @ a time. btw, i i've put only 200 mi ion the car. i thought japanese cars had good gas mileage! (2.5 tanks / 200 mi) is that good?

Manifold glowing red twice? Damn. I actually took the time to break in my car. As far as mudding, it was a construction site. The ground was packed and perfectly level, so I said why the hell not. It was a very thick clay mud type of deal with a bit of standing water. You could stop at any time. I mostly launched in the mud, but there was no need because almost any throttle input sent you sliding sideways. It was fun, maybe I'll get it on tape.
Which part... the mudding or the red manifold sleet??
LOL if its the mudding ill come along and show you whats up...
I warn you though it took me 4 hours to fully wash my car lol
\
and my dad got pissed that i was "abusing" the car

ok, it was 130 not 150 i've been up to, but no one at the dealer said anything about break-in. And there were no stickers on the car advising as such, my 91 BMW did. what were the rules i broke?
