"EVOLUTION" Valve Cover... Update Engine Bay Pics

Had a bit of good weather today so I thought I would post some updated pics of the 'ol engine bay. Still have a Cusco Oil Catch Can and AMS Polished Fuel Rail to install, but here it is as it sits.

From the factory no, it looks just like ours... But I am planning on doing the Intake Manifold and Turbo Housing the same color so I chose "Wrinkle Red" (like the Type-Rs) so they would all match.

That's exactly what I thought: Hon-Duh.

Pictures don't do it justice, I'm sure. Very nice looking all the same. I wish I could see it in person.

I can't say that I dig the flat red with no black on the "Evolution" letters. The bay does look good though. The CF spark plug cover looks awesome. You have put alot of work into it and it shows.

Hmmmm... Blacking out those letter might look good.

I wonder what the best way to do it, and making it look good would be....

Either sand it down and paint it, powdercoat *just* that (if possible), or another method... gonna have to think about it, but thanks for the suggestion.

TSI - I like it. It may not be the greatest thing out there, but for $100, it's a good buy.

Mach 8 - Yeah, I never really saw to many people with one, and just really like the look of it. Big thanks to evodave for hooking me up. For those of you that don't recognize it - it's a factory option, available from your dealer. I had it polished by a local (giving it a tad more "bling") but it's SUPER lightand looks great IMO/

evodave - Thanks! Shoot me a PM, I'll get ya' a number. They're pretty quick and reasonably priced.
