This past weekend I bought a bottle of Meguiar's Scratch X at AutoZone to clean the carbon off of my white car. This stuff is amazing. I had tried everything (short of nail polish remover) including hours with a clay bar. Scratch X took it off in seconds.

i know it sounds horrible but what do you think of brake cleaner?
i know it probably eats away clearcoat and paint if you leave it on for awhile but what about applying it and immediately cleaning it off?

i was suggested and applied some and it was like washing dirft off a bumper, came right off....didn't visibly seem to damage or effect the appearance of the bumper...

i wouldn't consider using it regularly but for heavy carbon...

btw, i did pick up tarminator this past weekend, thanks for everyone's feedback!

Why use something you have bad thoughts about? Just use some nice wax and it'll take it right off. Just keep up on it and don't let it get so bad. Like I said, I use the NXT and it comes right off. I do this about every two weeks or when I clean my car. Brake cleaner and other stuff that has been mentioned will more than likely strip whatever wax you have on your car.
